About Zero Balancing
About Zero Balancing
Developed in the 1970s by Dr. Fritz Smith, an osteopath and master of acupuncture, Zero Balancing (ZB) is a powerful body-mind therapy that uses skilled touch to address the relationships between energy and structures within the body. It is a beautiful integration of western medicine and eastern energetic principles.
A Zero Balancing session is done with the client fully clothed.
Zero Balancing can help amplify feelings of wellness in healthy people - and has been shown to help calm the nervious system, improve joint mobility, improve sleep and breathing, and reduce fatigue. Zero Balancing supports the body's natural healing processes and complements medical therapy.
⬅️ This video from Australia is a terrific ZB explainer. In less than 5 minutes you get a sense of what a ZB session looks like and how you might feel afterward.
About Jenny
About Jenny
For thirty years, Jenny Ash has contributed to collective healing through hands-on therapuetic bodywork and non-profit operations. Jenny finds the principles of Zero Balancing (ZB) foundational to mindful living. These include holding people in highest personal regard, and maintaining an awareness of energetic and physical boundaries, both hers and those around her. In the treatment room, these principles translate to a warm, vibrant and welcoming presence where clients can release long-held tensions and patterns.
Jenny currently sees clients at Heartseed Healing, 40 Railroad Street, Suite 208 in
Great Barrington, MA.
In addition to her bodywork practice, Jenny is certified as a Zero Balancing mentor and is available for in-person and online mentorship.
